MLB Partners with the Action Network – Partnership Details
According to sports news, the MLB/Action Network partnership is made up of three facets: syndication, programming and integration.
The Syndication of their content will be simple enough. This is because it will be shown on both the MLB and the Action Network digital platform. Of course, the MLB betting content will be made by the Action Network using MLB data.
The Programming part of the deal will be made in a new half-hour show. The name of the show is “Payoff Pitch” which will feature betting analysis and gambling advice. Furthermore, the Action Network will be in charge of producing it and distributing it on a weekly basis.
For the Integration, it will all be done using existing properties from the MLB. Therefore, no new sports betting software will be necessary for the integration. Additionally, it will feature their own articles and a gambling show, “Bettor’s Eye”. In addition, the show will regularly feature talent and betting information from the Action Network.
