Soccer Bookie News: Premier League Clubs Return to Training

Premier League RestartSports leagues across the world are slowly working towards resuming their respective seasons. The Premier League is taking cautious, but wide steps in returning to the field. Last May 19, we saw Premier League clubs return to training. They were required to comply with the Return to Training Protocol of Project Restart. Stage 1 of this was small-group training, where players could return for training sessions, but with strict social distancing measures.

Aside from social distancing, there are other concerns that various clubs continue to address. Some of which are medical testing for players and staff, and sterilizing procedures for venues and equipment. Even the number of attendees for each session is limited. But this was the first step taken by the league to restart their season. This is a move that is widely welcomed by those who use bookie software to earn from betting on soccer.

Premier League Clubs Return: Stage 2

The second stage of the Return to Training protocol involved contact training, which was allowed by Premier League stakeholders just this week. This means that clubs can now train their players as a group, and allow tackling, but still minimize physical contract. This next step is a bit riskier, as more physical contact is involved. But the league set strict safety protocols, such as Covid-19 testing twice a week, among others.

Those who are working on becoming a bookie should start setting up their sportsbooks soon. While we are only seeing training sessions resume, these are the first few steps needed to begin the restarting of the league. While clubs will be busy getting their players in top shape, officials and other stakeholders are also working to ensure safe working environments for all. Project Restart, as branded by Premier League Clubs, aims to restart the season by June 19.
