According to a statemen by the company, USA TODAY and Tipico Sportsbook have become strategic sports betting partners. This means that Tipico is now the exclusive sports betting and online gambling product provider for Gannet.
In addition, Gannett will also integrate the sports betting odds, prop bets, free-to-play games and betting trends throughout their network. However, no details were given about the how the integration of the sports betting services and content would take place.
According to Michael Reed, Gannett Chairman and CEO, they want to provide their 46 million sports fans more gambling content.
